Private Sleeve

Privacy policy

Draft of 6 October 2026, pending counsel's review

This policy describes what Argus Technologies Corporation collects when you use Private Sleeve, what it is used for, who can see it and how long it is kept.

What we collect. When you sign up: your name, your email address and, if you give it, whether you are an individual investor, an advisor or a family office. When you use the service: the documents you upload, the figures you enter about your positions, the questions you ask, the settings you choose, and the dates and times of your actions. From your browser: a hashed form of your IP address and your browser's identification string, kept with your sign-up request.

What it is used for. Reading your documents and showing you their terms, figures and events; comparing a deal's terms with other deals on the platform with every name removed; sending you the emails the service produces (a sign-in link, a welcome, a note when a deal has been read, a note when an update has been read, a weekly Monitor note you can turn off on your Profile); and telling the operator that an account was created and that its first deal was read. We do not sell your data, show advertising or share your data with sponsors.

Who can see it. No other member sees your files, your name, your email, your amounts or any figure you enter about yourself. The terms read from a deal's own documents join that deal's shared record, visible to other members who hold the deal, with no link to you. The operator's staff can see account data to run the service.

Who processes it for us. Supabase (database and file storage, United States), Vercel (hosting), Resend (email), Anthropic (the model that reads documents; under its API terms it does not train on them), and Brave (web search for news about a deal's sponsor, target and market; your documents are not sent to it), and PostHog (product analytics: which pages and features are used, under an account id, never your name, email or documents). Each receives only what its job needs.

How long we keep it. Your account data and documents for as long as you have an account. When you delete your account, your positions, your amounts and rounds, the documents addressed to you, your questions, your share links, your Monitor history, your name and your email address are removed at once; we keep a salted hash of your address to confirm the deletion if you ask. A deal's own documents you uploaded, and the terms, figures and events read from them, remain in that deal's shared record with no link to you. Statistics computed across deals keep the figures they already hold.

Security. Documents are stored in a private bucket that only your account and the service can reach, connections are encrypted, and sign-in uses a single-use link with no password. Fields such as tax identifiers, bank details and signatures that appear in documents addressed to you are never copied into the shared record.

Your choices and rights. You can change your name and turn the weekly Monitor email off on your Profile, and delete your account there. You may ask us what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, and we will not treat you differently for asking; California residents have these rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act and may also ask us to limit the use of sensitive personal information to what the service needs. Write to dev@getargus.tech.

Children. The service is for adults; we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

Changes. We will post a new version here with its date and tell you by email when the change matters to you.
